SKG successfully integrated Scottsdale’s
Environmentally Sensitive Land Ordinance guidelines for steep terrains
in this development. A combination of hillside gated custom lots
and traditional residential subdivision designs were integrated in
this prestigious area. Focusing on associated roadway and infrastructure
design, and stormwater management, SKG balanced street and grading
design elements within this desert hillside terrain. The ultimate
feature—a natural trail system—was created, minimizing
embankment issues and providing a spectacular hiking trail for the
community. |
